Marriage and life partner are considered to be inter-related but different terms. Many questions arouse why do people get marry? It can't be answered surfacely. Detail study is needed to find reality of duality. We have two hands, two eyes, two ears, two legs, two parts of brains and so on. Most of the organs of our body are in pairs. They function in binary system. One can't accomplish duties effectively without support of the other. That is not only in our body systems but also in the nature. Day and night, sun and moon, and many more. Existence of any living things can't be possible alone. Fertilization is impossible without unison of male cells and female cells. If so, why do every married couple not accomplish their duties as their own two hands, legs, eyes, and so on? If pair is needed, why are they not honest as their own body organs? Can't they learn from the pairs around them? If they are complete within themselves, what is marriage for? Is it only to fulfill sexual needs and bear children?
Generally, most of the people response that they marry for getting life partner. Some of them say that it's for systematize the
society. Some other think that it's to give continuity of human civilization.
Few of them response it as for romance and many more. But, my experiences and observations are
contradictory to them. My concern is to
find out necessity of marriage and spot the epicenter of the causes behind
unsuccessful marriages. Why is marriage becoming on of the cause of
dissatisfaction and irritation? Why couple can't be real model couple in their
marriage life? Why is marital
relationship becoming the main causes of domestic violence? It's necessary to
search the answers of all the questions related to marriage. It is not needed
for my sake and interest. Neither its is needed for pleasure nor for the shake
of writing. It's deeply rooted problem in our society just like wound in
genetic organ. Many people are suffering with its pain but pretending to be
healthy. Precious life of many youths
have been destroyed. Different types of social violence are initiated. Many
social problems are caused due to the unsuccessful marriage life. Millions are
forced to be mentally ill. Thousands of them are suffering form depression and
some of them can be seen roaming in mental hospitals. Thousands of them have committed
suicide. People from every family background, level, condition, geographical
variation, race, religion, ethnic groups are not out of touch with this
problem. They are burning themselves in their internal funeral pyre.
Some of the traditional thinkers argue that birth, marriage,
death as well as many specific events in human life span are pre-determined.
Human existence is gift of the God and they are guided to perform duties on the
basis of their pre-determined fortune. Their present life is result of their previous
one and next life will be according to their present Karma (behaviour). Every couple
are supposed to be two wheels of a same chariot. But I have always one question
with married couple: Do they really get
life partner to support their life after marriage? Are they really functioning
as the two wheels of a same chariot? There are many more questions which are
unanswered and can't be easily answered. People, like of our traditional
society can't revel their internal feelings. They can't bosom their heart.
Their secrets are caged and confided within barbered wire. Outdated religious
thought, falsehood conservative traditions and cultures, internal darkness due
to the lack of awareness, etc. are main walls that confided victimized souls. They
are forced to live in prison in their own heart.
Marriage is long term plan but most of the married couple
are forced to do it to fulfill their immediate needs. Many teenagers get marriage seeing their
companions. Their emotional need can't distinguish what is good and what is bad.
They want to accomplish their role of tradition
getting marriage. Some of them are enforced to get marriage according to their
superiors' choice. Many of them are traded on the name of marriage. In such
conditions they can get sex toys, child bearing machines, obedient servants,
consumer or seller not real life partner. Some of them can win lottery of their
own grave digger or malami ( cremation mass). If any one of them is lucky, he /
she can get a friend for few days. These are the realities of marriage and we are
talking about the two symmetry parts. Is it possible to be two wheels of a same
chariot ; if one wants to roll to east and other enforces to the west. How can
the designated destination be grasped?
